About
Children begin to think in images and symbols long before they can express themselves through words. Art therapy offers children and teens a safe, creative space to express feelings, build confidence, and develop emotional regulation, problem-solving skills, and resilience, supporting healthy growth and mental well-being.
Timings: To make art therapy convenient and accessible, I offer after‑school sessions to suit busy family schedules. This allows children and teens to attend without missing school, while giving them a creative space to unwind, process their day, and transition into home time with more ease.
Parent Consultations: Parents and caregivers are an important part of a child’s growth and healing process. I offer regular consultations to keep communication open and ensure your child feels supported both in and outside of sessions.
Who I Work With
I work with children and youth experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges. This includes those navigating anxiety, grief, or trauma, as well as changes at home, family transitions, school difficulties, or peer challenges. I also support kids struggling with emotional regulation, low self-esteem, perfectionism, identity exploration, and creative self-expression.
Art therapy can be especially helpful for children who:
Find it hard to talk about feelings
Have experienced bullying, separation, or loss
Are coping with family conflict or parental stress
Live with chronic illness, sensory processing differences, or neurodivergence
Are processing trauma or sexual trauma in a developmentally sensitive, safe way
Feel overwhelmed by school, social pressure, or emotional changes
